ส โบ เบ็ ต Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes should stay and battle on with the Scottish Premiership club, says former Dons striker Scott Booth.

McInnes has been rumoured to be in the frame for the West Brom job after Alan Pardew left by mutual consent.

The 46-year-old was expected to leave Aberdeen in December for Rangers, a club he played for, but turned down the offer and opted to stay at Pittodrie and Booth has stated "as a fan" he wants McInnes to stay.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, the ex-Aberdeen player said: "I thought at other times he would be interested in the jobs that have come along and he'd have potentially been there but he didn't bite.

"What Derek actually wants to do with his career right now is in the balance we don't really know if it's to move on, try something fresh, try something new. ส โบ เบ็ ต

"However, what I have seen so far I would expect him to stay at Aberdeen and keep building. I would expect him to stay and battle on at Aberdeen."

Aberdeen face Motherwell in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden on Saturday but will be without captain Graeme Shinnie, Kenny McLean and their only natural right-back Shay Logan due to suspension.

McInnes' side have not won the cup since 1990 and last won silverware in 2014 in the Scottish League Cup but Booth, who played for the club twice during his career, believes they can produce an on the day performance.

"I think as far the cup competitions are concerned you would still expect them to be tough with Celtic in the competition," he added. ส โบ เบ็ ต

sbobet online 24 On social media and at Wembley, Manchester United played on the national stadium being a home from home, soundtracking their history in domestic semi-finals and finals with a suspect remix of the Take Me Home chant. Mi casa es su casa for Alexis Sanchez at the new Wembley and his header at the weekend made it eight goals in eight at his second home in Britain. At full-time, the muscular Sanchez sauntered around the pitch topless, like a diminutive Cristiano Ronaldo, grabbed the match ball and punted it into the United end to triumphant cheers. Sanchez would soon receive a bottle of champagne to add to his Wembley mantelpiece of Cup final winner's baubles and goals.

Saturday was, comfortably, Sanchez's standout performance in United red. His goal was neat and the role in Ander Herrera's winner pivotal. Like Jose Mourinho's side's recent recoveries, there is a resilience about Sanchez which chimes with his manager's mentality. It is maybe not a coincidence Mourinho's United have won from losing positions as many times with Sanchez as they did previously without him. Sanchez's intensity was United's undoing for Dele Alli's opener, his enthusiastic pressing perhaps luring Ashley Young further up the pitch to vacate the space for Christian Eriksen to surge into. Yet without that freedom to roam he would not have met Paul Pogba's perceptive pass from the left flank as he ghosted in behind Jan Vertonghen and caught Ben Davies on his heels. sbobet online 24

"It was a wonderful ball by Pogba," Sanchez marvelled. "When the ball was in the air I was going to kick it to the front post but then the keeper moved and I changed the direction of the ball to surprise him." That split-second thinking separates the good from the great and it is difficult to envisage juniors Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford making such an intuitive run. For the second, Sanchez's positioning was fixed; he anticipated namesake Davinson's error by rushing in behind to gather the ball. Pep Guardiola might have mused Sanchez was City material if he clocked his reaction to scoring. The Chilean immediately pointed at Pogba, a selfless celebration synonymous with the Premier League champions, and Mourinho must have been heartened by the telepathy between two players accused of individualism. Pogba himself overcame an awkward start which included the ignominy of being nutmegged by Kieran Trippier. The cockiness with which Mousa Dembele then attempted to shimmy past the Frenchman piqued Pogba, whose delivery for Sanchez was as precise as the Lindo Wing's. sbobet online 24
